U.S. Government Wants To Buy And Then Unleash Robot Insects
For real.Go here.
The first phase is a hummingbird. Next, they want little, teeny-tiny insects.
They say it's for "military purposes only," but I can't help being skeptical. Imagine what this world would be like, and how (legitimately) paranoid we would all be if there were... oh, I don't know...
FLYING ROBOTIC INSECTS THAT COULD FLY AROUND AND SPY ON YOU!!! OMFG
It's only a matter of time. Seriously. I'm glad I'm not gonna be around for it but I swear to Christ on a Krispy Kreme, WE ARE ALL DOOMED!
Thanks, Giz!

Toyota's Running Humanoid Robot
It runs.
As in run — like when these things eventually take over and start running door-to-door to kill all of us annoying humans.
omg, I am so glad I will not be around when this stuff goes mass market. Would you not agree with me on that one?

"Big Dog" Robot Will Creep You Out
Straight out of Star Wars. Except it's real. And it will haunt your f@#%ing dreams.
This footage, depicting a quadruped robot, was filmed back in 2007 and it is nothing short of mind-bending.
I believe there is newer footage as well. I'll post that tomorrow...
