Daft Punk To Score Disney's Tron Sequel

This is kinda cool! According to sources at AICN, Daft Punk have signed a deal to score the sequel to Disney's Tron. I really dig their stuff, although I'm not 100% sure whether their music style will help or hurt the film. I'm guessing it might be kind of kick ass, right?

Tron 2 (or Tron 2.0, or Tr2n, or whatever it is they are going to call it) is slated for release on December 31, 2011.
