SDCC Report: Get Ready To Watch 15 Minutes Of Avatar In 3D... For FREE

Get ready to mark your friggin' calenders. According to Ain't It Cool News, Cameron just announced a deal with IMAX theaters (digital and film IMAX's). On August 21st, IMAX theaters across the country will be showing 15 minutes of 3D footage from Avatar... for FREE!

One thing I've been wondering though, and maybe you know the answer to this. Is the title of this film a poor choice and/or confusing? There was already an animated series called Avatar The Last Air Bender. I typed "Avatar" into Google and nearly all the images I got (at least 90%) were from the stupid cartoon show! I don't get it. You'd think Cameron would have somehow secured a more unique title or maybe alter the spelling or something. What do you think?
